We source our materials from all over the world. We strive to use natural and finest quality materials to craft each piece so that your journey with HotShellow can be treasured forever.

Many of our pieces are made with natural semi-precious gemstones, sea shells, freshwater pearls which are the gifts from nature, often one-of-a-kind. Pieces may appear differently from the items shown online due to the natural uniqueness of the materials.

 

Semi-precious gemstones: We use natural gemstones which may contain internal inclusions, adding to the beauty and uniqueness of each individual gem.

 

Sea shells & freshwater pearls: Each one of them is unique in shape, size and character.

 

Zircons: As a natural stone, it appares in many different colors. They sparkle and make stunning shine.

 

Metal: The precious metals we use are sterling silver & gold vermeil (vermeil is sterling silver that has been gold-plated). All of our earring posts are made of hypoallergenic sterling silver.

*We use natural gemstones and baroque pearls which may contain internal inclusions, irregular edges, uneven surfaces and variations in the colours. No two gems are the same, adding to the beauty and uniqueness of each individual gem.

 

Eco-friendly packaging:

To reduce the impact on the earth, the packaging materials are mostly paper that can be recycled. The bags we use to pack jewelry are NOT plastic, they are 100% recyclable glassine bags or 100% degradable corn starch bags.
